» Questions to Ask When Considering VESIcare
You can make a special appointment with your doctor to discuss your bladder symptoms, or you can ask questions during a routine office visit. Either way, once you've taken the important first step of deciding to talk with your doctor, the next step can be to complete our Fresh Approach Kit. This simple kit includes three parts:
  1. Bladder Checklist. Complete our "Is This You" Bladder Checklist, to show your doctor why you want to talk with him/her.
  2. Bladder Tracker. Keep track of your bladder habits for a few days using our Bladder Tracker to show your doctor what your symptoms are like.
  3. Questions to Ask. Review the suggested questions and be sure to add any of your own questions, so you won't forget to ask anything.
Questions you may want to ask the doctor include:
  • What might be causing my symptoms?
  • What are my treatment options?
  • What do you recommend for me?
  • What are the pros and cons of treatment?
  • What kind of results may I expect from treatment?
  • How long will I have to wait to see results?
