If your doctor prescribes VESIcare:
Take VESIcare as Prescribed.
- Fill your prescription.
- Begin treatment on the date your doctor suggests.
- Take one pill with or without food once a day or as directed by your doctor.
- Take VESIcare daily-not just when you think you'll need it.
Stay the Course of Overactive Bladder Treatment.
- VESIcare can only work when you take it.
- If you stop taking VESIcare, your symptoms could return.
- Keep up with refills as directed by your doctor.
- If you skip a dose of VESIcare, don't try to "double up" by taking two pills the next day. Instead, just take the regular dose the next day.
- Inform your doctor about any side effects you may experience.
Set Realistic Treatment Goals.
- Determine what to realistically expect with treatment by talking to your doctor.
- Establish what goals you want to achieve during treatment.
- Share goals with your doctor to help keep expectations on track.
- Follow up with your doctor to discuss your experience with VESIcare.

- You may feel like your bladder symptoms have reduced in two weeks with VESIcare.
- Some people may require several weeks longer before feeling like their bladder symptoms have reduced.
- Don't expect to see your bladder symptoms reduce overnight.
- Don't stop taking VESIcare if you don't see results right away.
- Stick with treatment as prescribed by your doctor.
